Stormblood Relic Armor

Eureka Armor is the relic armor system introduced during the Stormblood expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. These armor sets are obtained through progression within the Forbidden Land, Eureka, a large exploration system consisting of several zones with their own leveling mechanics and bosses.

Players progress through the Eureka zones by raising their Elemental Level, defeating powerful Notorious Monsters, and collecting special materials used to enhance relic weapons and armor.

Eureka armor is primarily obtained in the later stages of Eureka progression and can be upgraded through multiple tiers, eventually gaining powerful glowing visual effects.

Eureka Armor Progression Overview

Each stage requires materials obtained through Eureka gameplay systems.

Stage 1 — Elemental Armor

Players unlock Elemental Armor during the Eureka Pyros zone progression.

To obtain the armor, players must progress through the Pyros storyline and collect special upgrade materials dropped by enemies and Notorious Monsters.

• Progress through Eureka Pyros storyline

• Reach the required Elemental Level

• Obtain Pyros crystals and upgrade materials

How to Obtain Materials

Materials are obtained through:

• Notorious Monster boss events

• defeating enemies in Eureka Pyros

• completing zone progression objectives

Stage 2 — Elemental Armor +1

After obtaining the base Elemental Armor set, players can upgrade it to Elemental Armor +1.

This upgrade improves the armor and adds additional visual effects.

Required Materials

Additional Pyros upgrade materials obtained from:

• Notorious Monsters

• enemy farming

• zone activities

These materials are exchanged through Eureka NPC vendors.

Stage 3 — Elemental Armor +2

The next stage becomes available after progressing to Eureka Hydatos.

This upgrade improves the armor further and prepares it for the final stage of the relic armor system.

Requirements

• Progress through Hydatos storyline

• Obtain Hydatos upgrade materials

• Continue farming Notorious Monster events

Hydatos introduces stronger enemies and larger cooperative boss events.

Final Stage — Elemental Armor Physeos

The final stage of Eureka armor is the Elemental Armor Physeos set.

This upgrade is obtained through the Baldesion Arsenal raid, a large-scale raid located within the Eureka Hydatos zone.

Baldesion Arsenal requires coordinated groups and represents the most difficult challenge within the Eureka system.

Completing this content allows players to obtain the final relic armor upgrades.

Best Eureka Armor Farming Strategy

The most efficient way to obtain Eureka armor is to participate in Notorious Monster trains.

These organized groups move across the zone spawning and defeating bosses in sequence, which provides the fastest method for collecting crystals and upgrade materials.

Recommended strategy:

1. Join a Notorious Monster train within the zone

2. Participate in boss events for large material rewards

3. Continue leveling Elemental Rank while farming materials

4. Progress through Pyros and Hydatos to unlock armor upgrades

This cooperative farming strategy dramatically speeds up relic progression.
