Dawntrail Relic Armor Sets

Arcanaut’s Armor Sets are the relic armor progression system introduced in the Dawntrail expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. These armor sets represent the long-term equipment upgrade path tied to the Dawntrail relic ecosystem.

To begin obtaining Arcanaut armor, players must first complete the quest:

Once unlocked, adventurers can begin acquiring the base armor set and upgrading it through several enhancement stages tied to Dawntrail exploration content.

Most upgrade materials are obtained through activities in Occult Crescent: South Horn, including FATEs, treasure coffers, and special encounter rewards.

How to Obtain Enlightenment Silver Pieces

Enlightenment Silver Pieces are obtained by completing FATEs in Occult Crescent: South Horn.

Participating regularly in these FATE events will gradually accumulate the currency required to purchase the base Arcanaut armor set.

Stage 2 — Arcanaut’s Armor +1 (i745)

The first upgrade stage enhances the base armor set using special materials purchased from vendors in the Occult Crescent expedition area.

The most efficient method for progressing through the Arcanaut armor upgrades is to focus heavily on activities within Occult Crescent: South Horn.

Recommended progression:

  1. Participate in as many FATE events as possible to accumulate Enlightenment Silver Pieces.

  2. Exchange those currencies with the Expedition Antiquarian to obtain upgrade materials.

  3. Open treasure coffers from exploration encounters to acquire Aetherspun Gold.

  4. Complete activities in The Forked Towers to obtain Sanguinite for the final armor upgrade stage.

Combining these activities will allow players to progress through the Arcanaut armor system as efficiently as possible.
