The Mission
The Tavern exists to document Final Fantasy XIV encounters in a format that is readable, scannable, and useful during actual play.
Every guide is built around what actually matters in a party: mechanic behavior, execution requirements, failure points, and the consequences of mistakes. No vague impressions. No subjective rankings. Just the information you need to complete content efficiently.
What the Tavern Covers

- Raids — Normal, Savage, and Alliance encounters across every expansion
- Trials — story trials, Extreme trials, and major boss encounters

How Guides Are Built
Every encounter on the Tavern originates from firsthand gameplay experience. Mechanics, strategies, and progression insights come from actually playing the content across multiple expansions — not aggregating other sites or theorycrafting from patch notes.
AI tools are used strictly for formatting consistency and trimming excess words. Everything is created, reviewed, and finalized by the Guildmaster. If it’s on the Tavern, a real player put it there.
The Editorial Standard
Every page on the Tavern is built to the same standard:

The Guildmaster
The Guildmaster has been playing Final Fantasy XIV since 1.0 — survived the original launch, endured the Umbral Calamity, witnessed the rebirth, and has been clearing content across every expansion since A Realm Reborn.
With over a decade of active adventuring with the Scions. The goal has always been simple: build the resource that should have existed already.
