Encounter Overview
Titan serves as the final encounter of the Eden’s Gate raid tier in Savage difficulty. This version expands heavily on the tile-based mechanics introduced in the normal encounter, layering tile detonations, positional debuffs, knockback mechanics, and transformation phases.
The arena consists of 16 tiles, and many mechanics revolve around controlling which tiles are safe to stand on. Throughout the fight Titan repeatedly pressures the raid with overlapping tile explosions, platform manipulation, and knockback effects that can easily send players off the arena.
Later in the encounter Titan transforms into Titan Maximum, drastically changing the arena structure and introducing quadrant-based mechanics that require careful role positioning and coordinated tile management.
Falling off the platform results in immediate death, though players may be resurrected after a short delay.
Arena Overview
The battlefield is a 4×4 tiled arena surrounded by open space. Many of Titan’s abilities target individual tiles or groups of tiles, making spatial awareness extremely important.
Players must constantly track:
• tile explosions
• tile ownership mechanics
• knockback direction
• platform elevation changes
During later phases the arena will temporarily divide into raised and lowered quadrants, forcing the raid to split responsibilities between different sections of the platform.
Mechanic Archive
Stonecrusher
Titan’s tankbuster strikes the primary target three times in succession, applying stacking debuffs and heavy damage.
The attack also hits in a small AoE around the target.
Response
• tanks either swap between hits or assign one tank to invuln all three
• off-tank should be ready to provoke between stomps if swapping
• non-tanks stay clear of the impact area.
Weight of the Land
Random tiles explode after a short delay.
Response
• immediately move to a safe tile
• avoid drifting into areas that may soon explode due to overlapping mechanics.
Pulse of the Land
Yellow triangle markers appear on multiple players. When the marker resolves, the tile they stand on explodes.
Response
• each marked player should occupy a separate tile
• avoid stacking tiles with other marked players
• assigning tile positions before the pull helps prevent overlaps.
Evil Earth
Two tiles detonate and create an expanding wave of explosions across the arena.
Unlike normal mode, the expanding pattern is not telegraphed.
Response
• learn the possible patterns
• watch the initial explosion location and move into the previously detonated tiles as the wave expands.
Force of the Land
Orange square markers appear on players that must share damage.
Response
• players with orange markers stack together
• coordinate positioning so stacks resolve in a safe tile.
Voice of the Land
Raidwide damage affecting the entire party.
Response
• mitigate and heal
• prepare for upcoming mechanics immediately afterward.
Geocrush
Titan leaps to a new tile location and applies a massive knockback.
Response
• move close to Titan’s landing location
• aim your character so the knockback sends you safely into a corner tile
• knockback immunity can trivialize the mechanic.
After Geocrush Titan immediately transitions into either Titan Fists or Titan Wheels.
Titan Fists Phase
Titan Fists
Titan enlarges his fists and slams the sides of the arena.
Only the tiles directly in front of Titan are safe during the first slam.
Response
• orange markers stack beneath Titan
• yellow markers spread across the tiles in front
• after the slam, quickly rotate to the sides before the front tiles explode.
Landslide (Cross Impact)
Titan leaps to a cardinal point and creates horizontal and vertical line blasts.
Response
• the safe areas are the diagonal corners furthest from Titan
• after the blast, move back toward Titan before the safe tiles detonate.
Bomb Boulders
Bombs spawn in either “+” or “X” patterns and explode in the order they appear.
Response
• track the spawn order
• move into areas that have already detonated
• prepare to reposition quickly for the next mechanic.
Landslide (Left / Right)
Titan destroys half of the arena.
Response
• move to the safe half
• immediately swap sides afterward when the previously safe area detonates.
Titan Wheels Phase
Titan Wheels / Charge
Titan transforms into a wheeled form and dashes across the arena.
Players in front of the charge are instantly killed.
Response
• stand to the side of the charge path
• choose the side with more arena space so the knockback does not send you off the platform.
Fault Line
Titan charges toward the main target, dealing heavy damage.
Response
• tanks reposition Titan so the charge path avoids the raid
• a provoke from the furthest tank helps redirect the attack safely.
Magnitude
A donut AoE centered on Titan.
Response
• move inside Titan’s hitbox to avoid the outer blast
• immediately spread afterward for Pulse of the Land.
Pulse of the Land (Full Raid)
All players receive yellow markers.
Response
• quickly spread to individual tiles
• avoid overlapping explosions.
Crumbling Down
Several players drop proximity markers that summon large boulders.
These boulders are required to line-of-sight Seismic Wave.
Response
• drop boulders near arena corners
• avoid placing them too close to Titan or they will crumble
• later hide behind them for the line-of-sight mechanic.
Titan Maximum Phase
Titan grows enormous and becomes fixed to the north side of the arena.
This phase introduces several new mechanics and arena transformations.
Earthen Fury
Heavy raidwide damage that opens the phase.
Response
• raid mitigation recommended
• heal quickly before the next mechanic begins.
Earthen Fists
Titan charges his fists and punches different sides of the arena.
The order of punches is determined by the charge animations.
Response
• watch which fist is charging
• move to the safe side before the punch resolves
• continue dodging Weight of the Land tiles simultaneously.
Dual Earthen Fists
A knockback attack from a central marker.
Response
• stand close to the marker
• aim your knockback toward a safe corner tile.
Weight of the World
Blue triangle markers explode a tile and its adjacent tiles.
Response
• marked players move to far corner tiles
• keep explosions away from the rest of the raid.
Earthen Anguish
Large AoE tankbusters targeting both tanks.
Response
• tanks spread to opposite sides of Titan
• heavy mitigation recommended.
Megalith
A heavy stack tankbuster.
Response
• only the two tanks should stack together
• use mitigation cooldowns.
Tectonic Uplift
Two diagonal quadrants of the arena rise into the air.
Players become separated between raised and lowered platforms.
Response
• assign groups before the pull
• melee typically handle the quadrant closest to Titan.
Rock Throw
Both healers are trapped inside gaols.
Response
• healers should place gaols far apart
• the raid must break them quickly.
Plate Fracture
Titan destroys quadrants of the arena based on his punch animation.
Response
• watch Titan’s wind-up animation to determine which quadrant will be destroyed
• move early to avoid losing safe space.
Orogenesis (Final Phase)
Titan Maximum summons a second Titan, forcing the raid to handle mechanics from both Titans simultaneously.
The phase includes:
• rotating Weight of the Land patterns
• simultaneous Pulse and Force markers
• repeated raidwide damage
• tankbuster combos.
The raid must maintain tile control while resolving marker mechanics correctly until Titan reaches hard enrage.
Encounter Flow
The encounter begins with tile control mechanics and tank pressure through Stonecrusher while introducing individual tile ownership through Pulse of the Land and Force of the Land.
After the first Geocrush, Titan alternates between the Fists and Wheels transformation phases, each requiring precise tile positioning and coordinated marker resolution.
Mid-fight mechanics introduce proximity boulders for line-of-sight protection and repeated knockback mechanics that threaten to launch players off the arena.
The second half of the encounter transitions into the Titan Maximum phase, where the arena divides into quadrants and multiple role-based mechanics occur simultaneously.
The final phase, Orogenesis, combines mechanics from both Titan forms and pushes the raid through intense raidwide damage until the boss is defeated or the hard enrage Earthen Fury wipes the party.
