Dungeon Overview
Haukke Manor (Hard) revisits the haunted estate of Lady Amandine, revealing that the dark influence within the manor has only grown stronger since the original expedition. The once-familiar halls now house new horrors and twisted servants that guard the estate’s inner chambers.
This hard-mode version dramatically increases the mechanical complexity of the dungeon compared to the original leveling version. Several encounters revolve around add management, positioning awareness, and strict DPS checks that punish uncoordinated groups.
The final encounter in particular is one of the most notorious early ARR dungeon bosses due to its multiple add phases and high damage scaling mechanics.

Walkthrough Highlights
The White and Red Halls
The manor layout remains largely similar to the original dungeon, but enemy groups are significantly more dangerous and numerous. Gargoyles, demons, and cursed servants patrol the halls and should be handled carefully to avoid overwhelming the party.
Tanks should avoid overpulling in narrow corridors where line-of-sight and positioning can become chaotic. Many enemies apply heavy damage or disruptive effects that quickly strain the healer if the group becomes scattered.

Boss Encounters
Manor Jester
Key Mechanics
Void Blizzard — Deals damage and applies the Slow debuff to players.
Ice Patches — Ground effects left behind by the boss that players should avoid.
Add Spawns — Manor Butler enemies appear during the fight and must be eliminated quickly.
Strategy Notes
The healer should remove Slow using Esuna as soon as possible to maintain party mobility. Meanwhile, DPS should quickly eliminate the Manor Butler adds before they begin stacking damage pressure on the party.
Players should also remain aware of the ice patches created by the boss and reposition accordingly to avoid unnecessary damage.
Ash
Key Mechanics
Frontal Cleave — The boss deals heavy damage in front of it. Non-tanks should avoid standing in this area.
Spirit Cutters — Blue spectral blades that sweep through the arena and must be avoided.
Swirling Swords — Rotating blade hazards that create unsafe zones.
Abyssal Transfixion — Applies Paralysis to a player.
Add Spawn — Additional enemies appear and should be defeated quickly.
Strategy Notes
The main challenge of this encounter is maintaining positional awareness while avoiding multiple overlapping hazards. Healers should remove Paralysis immediately, while DPS focus on clearing the add when it appears.
As long as the tank keeps the boss facing away from the party and players remain attentive to the arena hazards, the fight remains manageable.
Halicarnassus
Key Mechanics
Void Fire III / Dark Mist — Unavoidable or large AoE attacks that players should avoid whenever possible.
Add Absorption Mechanic — Halicarnassus periodically summons adds which she later absorbs, triggering the powerful raidwide attack Blood Rain.
The amount of damage dealt by Blood Rain depends on the remaining health of the absorbed add.
Add Phases
- Manor Sentry — Grants the boss immunity to stun and silence when absorbed.
- Manor Maidservants (two adds) — Grant the boss increased damage when absorbed.
- Lady Amandine — The final add phase from the original Haukke Manor.
Strategy Notes
This encounter revolves around carefully managing the add phases. The party must reduce the adds to zero health before the boss absorbs them in order to minimize the damage of Blood Rain.
During the Maidservant phase, the safest approach is to bring one add to zero health before switching to the second. If the boss absorbs an add at full health, the resulting damage can easily wipe the group.
When Lady Amandine appears, the party should focus heavy damage on her immediately. Using a DPS Limit Break is often the safest way to ensure she is eliminated before the boss absorbs her.
Final Phase
At low health, Halicarnassus begins casting Beguiling Mist, charming the party and forcing them to walk toward her before targeting players with Void Fire IV. This sequence repeats multiple times and eventually leads to a wipe if the boss is not defeated quickly.
Once the final add phase has been handled correctly, the party should finish the boss quickly to prevent repeated charm mechanics.
