Level 70 Relic Weapons

Eureka Weapons are the relic weapon series introduced in the Stormblood expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. Unlike most relic systems, Eureka progression takes place in a series of large exploration zones known collectively as The Forbidden Land, Eureka.

Players progress through the relic weapon chain by leveling their Elemental Level, defeating powerful Notorious Monsters, and collecting special upgrade materials throughout the Eureka zones.

The Eureka relic journey spans four separate exploration areas:

• Eureka Anemos

• Eureka Pagos

• Eureka Pyros

• Eureka Hydatos

Each zone introduces new mechanics and upgrade stages for relic weapons.

Eureka Weapon Progression Overview

Each stage requires special crystals obtained within the Eureka zones.

Stage 1 — Anemos Weapons

Players begin the Eureka relic journey in Eureka Anemos.

After reaching the required Elemental Level and progressing through the zone storyline, players can upgrade their relic using Protean Crystals.

How to Obtain Protean Crystals

Protean Crystals are obtained by defeating enemies and completing Notorious Monster FATE events in Eureka Anemos.

Notorious Monsters spawn when players defeat specific enemy groups within the zone.

These boss encounters reward large numbers of Protean Crystals and are the primary method of relic progression.

Stage 2 — Pagos Weapons

After completing the Anemos progression, players unlock Eureka Pagos.

This stage introduces Frosted Protean Crystals, which are required to enhance the weapon further.

How to Obtain

These crystals are obtained through:

• Notorious Monster events in Eureka Pagos

• defeating enemies throughout the zone

Pagos also introduces more challenging enemies and slower leveling progression.

Stage 3 — Pyros Weapons

The third relic stage takes place in Eureka Pyros.

This zone introduces a new system called Logograms, which allow players to create powerful temporary abilities used during combat.

How to Obtain

Pyros Crystals are obtained from:

• Notorious Monster encounters

• enemy farming throughout the zone

Logograms can also be used to unlock special relic attributes.

Stage 4 — Hydatos Weapons

The final Eureka zone is Eureka Hydatos, where players complete the last stages of the relic weapon progression.

Hydatos introduces the powerful Baldesion Arsenal raid, one of the most challenging large-scale encounters introduced in Stormblood.

How to Obtain

Hydatos Crystals drop from:

• Notorious Monster events

• enemies within the Hydatos zone

These crystals are used to upgrade the weapon to its final stages.

Final Stage — Eureka Physeos Weapons

The final stage of the Eureka relic chain produces the Eureka Physeos Weapon, the completed Stormblood relic.

Players complete the final upgrade by obtaining materials through the Baldesion Arsenal raid, which is accessed within Eureka Hydatos.

Baldesion Arsenal is a large-scale raid designed for coordinated groups and represents the final challenge of the Eureka relic system.

Best Eureka Weapon Farming Strategy

The fastest way to progress through Eureka weapons is by focusing on Notorious Monster farming trains.

Most Eureka instances form organized groups that move across the map spawning and defeating bosses in sequence.

Recommended strategy:

1. Join a Notorious Monster train in the zone

2. Participate in boss fights for large crystal rewards

3. Level Elemental Rank alongside relic progression

4. Progress through each zone sequentially

This cooperative farming approach dramatically speeds up relic weapon progression.
